Memenuhi tugas maba teknik

aannd it's tomorrow. the first day of the orientation day. drumroll.
i'm writing for one of the task where i need to explain the importance of the orientation.
i'm about to start, but first. let me take a selfie clarify that i'm no good in expressing words so i beg your understanding for my lacking in writing this post.

For those who don't know, PPSMB ( Pelatihan Pembelajar Sukses Bagi Mahasiswa Baru ) is the orientation day of my university, which is held for seven days and it helps the freshmen to know their university better.
However PPSMB is more than that. You learn lots of another things when you follow it thoroughly.
While some freshmen think that PPSMB is a waste of time and energy, i believe that everything has it's own positive sides and there's no useless experience. So even though PPSMB might be a little harsh, or boring, or not so pleasing, it's still important for us, freshmen.

Just by following the pre-orientation, being grouped into a few different groups and other, you might notice that teamwork is one of the point they want to tell us through the orientation. I personally find it difficult to build relationships in a teamwork, since i don't talk a lot and i might have a lot of bad first impressions for the people that i've just met. Through those things i've learnt a little about starting conversations and doing what i can do for the team. There are freshmen coming from everywhere in the university, so the diversity is big. We learn to accept differences and build a bridge to breach those and reach the unity to work together. Some of us will even find the leadership in ourselves. There will be people who surface as the leaders, and there will be people who support the team from the inside. We'll find our own places in the team.

Going to college is not the same as going to school. In college we fully make decisions by ourselves. We are demanded to be more mature, and not to mention even some of us live far away for our parents and we need to take care of ourselves. Through PPSMB we'll be introduced to the college life, which is cruel and full of hardships, from what people told me, yet you'll find a lot of new things and enjoyable experiences from it.
By following the orientation we can adapt ourselves a bit to the college tasks, even the real college task might be harder than what we find in the orientation. We'll be used to a pile of works and we'll learn how it's not easy to reach our goal thus we have to work hard for it and never give up.

The importance of PPSMB might be invisible at the beginning, but it exists.
PPSMB prepares us to face the college life, and moreover the real life we'll be facing  after the college.
